*Blessing of the Animals Outdoor Worship, Sunday, September 22 –9 am Worship, All finned, furry and feathered creatures who will play nice with others are welcome. Stuffed animals and pictures are also welcome. Each will receive a blessing. Please bring a lawn chair (folding chairs will be available).

- Wednesday, September 25, 6:00-7:30 pm: Dinner Church with parents/caring adult attending with youth (siblings welcome). Our fall lessons focus on the Ten Commandments and the theme for Dinner Church will be activities about the Commandments. At Dinner Church we share a meal, lesson, and worship service around the table.
- Sunday, October 6, 9:00am Worship: Rite of Confirmation Service
*The next Women’s Fellowship meeting will be held Wednesday, September 25, 6:30 p.m., in the conference room at the church. We will discuss “Act Boldly with Balance.” It is part of a 3-part series on “Act Boldly for Health,” a series from Women of the ELCA. Please join us!
*Confirmation Youth Bible Blessing, September 29, 9:00 am Worship, 7th-9th grade youth will receive a Lutheran Study Bible to use in confirmation and life. In worship parents/adult caregivers will place the Holy Scriptures in their youths hands and receive a blessing. Thank you to the congregation for supporting our youth in this way.
*”Conversation with Confirmands” – Sunday, September 29,10:15 am Intergenerational Fellowship, This year’s lessons, Chosen Together include activities where confirmands connect with adults following worship. Some Sundays youth will have questions to wonder with you about scripture, faith practices, and life. To kickoff this year’s conversations, please join confirmands in the Fellowship Hall for treats and caring conversations.

*The Preston Historical Society is excited to announce their fundraising campaign for the Preston Depot Museum and Riverfront Center (at the site of the former Preston Dairy & Farm Building). We have to raise $200,000 to begin work and another $200,000 to finish the construction. As of September 1, we are at $150,000! Any donations at this time are being matched 50 cents/$1 by the Christianson Family Fund! Please consider a donation of any size to the future home of the Preston Historical Society and community event space. Donations can be made out to Preston Historical Society and mailed to F&M Community Bank, Attn: Preston DMRC, PO Box 467, Preston, MN 55965.
