*Senior Recognition Sunday – Sunday, May 17th – Graduating High School seniors will be celebrated in worship on Sunday, May 17th during the 9am worship service. Christ Crafters will share a personalized blanket with each of them, parents and seniors will receive a blessing and everyone is invited to enjoy coffee and treats following worship. Come and share a prayer as they transition into new adventures. We are excited to extend our congratulations to Mathew Bakken, Cora Britton, Chase Gatzke, Kyla Hellickson, Kane Larson, Brody Niemeyer, Thomas Pikula, Maddie Topness and Mady Wingert. Watch for “Senior Spotlights” honoring each senior on Facebook and Instagram, too!
*GEV Summer Camp registration is now open! Register online at goodearthvillage.org – use the code CLCPRES2026 and choose Tier 3 pricing. For more information on registering, contact Amanda or Pastor Kris. Please fill out the GEV form available from Amanda and submit this with your payment for us to keep track of kids registered for GEV. CONFIRMATION YOUTH -you have a separate code to use to register. You may find it on the website and in emails.
*SUMMER Book Read – “They Left Us Everything” by Plum Johnson. Join us at Nancy Hengeveld’s home for conversation and fellowship on Thursday, July 9th at 6:30 pm.
*SAVE THE DATE – Rite of Confirmation will be on Sunday, October 11th, 2026 – 9AM worship.

In faith, we are invited to walk with, work with and learn from one another in love.
Come explore and grow in God’s love with us! VBS is free and all are welcome!
As always, it’s a great time to invite a friend!
WHO: *Kids turning 5 on or before September 5, 2026 through grade 6, & younger preschoolers accompanied by a caring adult. Households will be asked to help provide and serve meals.
WHAT: Bible stories, music, games, activities, a service project and food!
WHEN: Tues, June 16th, Wed, June 17th, and Thurs, June 18th; from 5-7pm (check in between 4:45 and 5:00 pm; meal 5-5:30;VBS 5:30-7)
*Sunday, June 21 – 9:00 am Worship – VBS kids will lead songs!

Summer WOW Nights are Coming! COME FOR THE FUN – STAY FOR YOUR FAITH!
Wednesdays – June 10 I July 8 I August 12 / 6-7:30 pm; For youth entering 6th grade and older.
WHAT’S ON WEDNESDAY? (WOW) FUN, FAITH, FRIENDS. Come hang out for games, treats, and faith-filled fun in a place you belong. Come as you are, bring a friend, and spend the summer laughing, connecting, and growing in God’s love. Our youth will be hosting each month—come enjoy the awesome activities they have planned! Updates will be posted on www.christlutheranpreston.org as well as the Christ Lutheran Facebook and Instagram pages. See you this summer!
*BUNDLES OF LOVE REMINDER: We continue to collect baby items for Bundles of Love. Be on the lookout for items when you go to garage sales, etc. All collected items will be donated to the local Bundles of Love group in Chatfield. They work with Social Services in Fillmore, Houston, and Winona Counties to distribute bundles where needed. A complete list of needed items can be found on the bulletin board outside the church office. Donations can be left in the church office.

*Outdoor Worship & Blessing of the Bikes – Sunday, June 14th, 9AM Worship – Pedal or motor up on your bike, or head to church in a more traditional way on this Sunday. We will worship outdoors and Pastor Kris will share a Blessing of the Bikes! There will be a small gift for those who bring their bikes. BYOC (chair) or there will be folding chairs available. In case of inclement weather worship will be held inside and we will head outside to bless the bikes following worship. Park your bike in the lower parking lot.
