*BIBLE MILESTONE SUNDAY – On Sunday, September 20th during 9am worship, 4 year olds, 3rd graders, and 7th grade will receive their Bibles during worship. 3rd graders and parents will meet after worship for a Bible Milestone class at 10 am.
*The next Women’s Fellowship will meet at the church on Wednesday, September 30 (NOTE DATE CHANGE), 6:30 p.m., at the church in the Heritage Room. Join us as we continue discussing Joan Chittister’s The Gift of Years: Growing Older Gracefully (pages 167-193).
*Baby & Toddler Book Club – Second Sundays – October 11, November 8, December 13 at 10 am
Who is it for? Babies (yes, truly!), toddlers, and preschoolers up to age four—not yet attending Sunday School— and their parents or other caring adults. Led by Shelby Ristau, explore faith through storytelling, prayer, music, and creative play. The Frolic First Bible (given at Baptism) and Frolic board books, create a meaningful experience for you. Plus, families will be given a book to take home! Scan this QR code to register:
*NEED DRIVERS FOR THE RIDE PROGRAM: With a number of scheduled appointments approaching, our church Ride Program is seeking additional volunteer drivers. Backup drivers are especially helpful to ensure we can meet all transportation needs. Please contact Mike Erdman, 507-995-1933, if you’re willing to assist or have questions.
*Sunday School has started and we are excited for this new year. Additional hands are needed each week, and we invite you to sign up for one or more Sundays as they fit your schedule. *Strength and Balance Exercise Class meets twice a week at Christ Lutheran, Tues/Thurs from 11:30-12:30 in fellowship hall. More people are welcome! Sponsored by Catholic Charities –free will donations are accepted.
*You’re Invited! Preston Pool Referendum Public Meetings-Sept. 28: 11am-1pm; Oct. 6: 4pm-6pm; Oct. 11: 1pm-4pm
All meetings are held at the Preston Depot Museum and Riverfront Center. Three conceptual designs will be presented, public feedback collected, and questions answered/information provided about the project and referendum and how it will affect taxpayers. Please spread the word, and everyone is invited to learn about this potential new pool, even if you don’t live in City limits.
