Our congregation includes activities for people of all ages!
Our Men’s Fellowship group meets on the second Thursday of the month, 9 AM at B&B Bowl in Preston for coffee and conversation.
Our Christ’s Crafters group meets the first and third Thursdays each month at 1 PM in the lower level of the church. In addition to fellowship and socializing, this group makes a variety of items for the church craft sale, quilts for baptisms, fleece throws for high school grads, mission quilts and prayer shawls. Community outreach projects have also included Kleenex covers for veterans, Easter baskets for assisted livings, and stuffed animals for children at Mayo Clinic. No crafting skills needed – all are welcome!
Our Altar Guild works diligently to prepare our beautiful sanctuary for worship. Altar Guild members perform a variety of tasks, such as caring for the altar paraments and candles, the preparation of communion, and the floral arrangements for Christmas & Easter. This group also prepares the baptismal font and assists with funerals. The group graciously purchases Bibles for our preschool students, and boutonnieres for our confirmands. If you are interested in joining the Altar Guild or have questions, please contact Mary Glaser, Karen Trende, or Amanda in the office.
Our Christ Lutheran Women’s Circle participates in many activities of fellowship and volunteerism. Currently, the Circle is supporting the Bundles of Love program, which provides infant items, which are donated locally to families in need. See the Opportunities to Serve page for more information on what items are needed.
Each Tuesday and Thursday, at 11:30 AM, the fellowship hall hosts an Exercise class for older adults. This group does a lot of work on balance and strength training – important to prevent injuries!
