Wear your favorite flannel and join us for Rally Sunday as we FALL into Faith with the start of a new Sunday School year on Sept. 14! The worship service will include a back to school blessing, and we’ll have activities downstairs for the whole family afterwards.
All are welcome!

*Reminder to 7th-9th grade Confirmation students/parents – Confirmation Orientation will take place on Wednesday, Sept 17th at 6:30 p.m.

*Gather with us for Dwelling in the Word, – Wednesday, September 24th at 9 am at the B&B,
a Bible study led by Pastor Kris from 9:00–10:00 a.m. at B&B. Together, we’ll read the scripture for the upcoming Sunday and explore it through meaningful conversation centered on three guiding questions: What does the text say? What does it mean? And what is God saying to me through this text? Whether you’re new to scripture or a seasoned reader, attending weekly or occasionally, all are welcome. It’s a chance to grow in faith, connect with others, and engage deeply with God’s Word in a supportive, open-hearted community. Come as you are—your questions and insights are always welcome.

*Women’s Fellowship – The next Women’s Fellowship meeting will be held at the church on Wednesday, September 24, 2025, at 6:30 p.m. Join us as Laura, our county’s Women’s Shelter advocate, shares her insights on domestic violence and the services they provide to those affected.

*“What We Can Do: Responding to God’s Generosity“ is the emphasis for our fall stewardship campaign. The weekly themes include:

  • September 14, “Giving it All Up”, Luke 18:18-27 – How might we live in the present without the anxiety that we lack what we need?
  • September 21, “Kingdom Investing with Worldly Currency,” Luke 16:1-13 – How are our gifts faithful responses to mission and ministry locally and globally?
  • September 28, “Opening Our Eyes,” Luke 16:19-31 – What prevents us from seeing the needs of our neighbor and how is it a gift when we  help them?
  • October 5, “Saying ‘Yes!”, Luke 19:29-35a – How has God said “yes!” to the work the people of God of Christ Lutheran are doing and how are we impacting lives for the good?

*Congregational Brunch – On Sunday, October 5th, following worship, we will celebrate the end of our “What We Can Do” Stewardship campaign with an All-Congregation brunch, sponsored by Christ Lutheran and our Stewardship Team. To those who are planning to attend, please sign up in the narthex or call the church office, just so we can get a better idea of how much food we’ll need. NOTE: You do not have to have been signed up to attend the day of!

*Youth Care Package Party – Sunday, September 28, 4-6 pm, grades 9-12. Last May we celebrated our twelve graduating high school seniors and this fall, we wish to send our love and care to these friends with a fun care package! We are gathering on Sunday, September 28th to assemble care packages (we will also have time for games, pizza, storytelling, and a prayer). Friends are always welcome. Please bring 12 of the same items, one for each package. Suggested items are lip balm, hot cocoa, snacks, Post-its, pens, fidget balls, etc. Do not bring heavy or breakable items like canned pop or candles. Text Pastor Kris to say, “Yes! I’m coming!”
*Thank you to the Altar Guild for donating funds to cover the cost of shipping.

*Good Earth Village Lunch & Learn – “Do Something Wild Today. Look at a Bird!”

Good Earth Village is kicking off a new season of Lunch & Learn with a truly entertaining and insightful guest—Al Batt, a beloved writer, speaker, and humorist known for his witty and heartfelt observations about the natural world and the people in it.
