Pastor Kris will be out of the office June 24th – June 30th. Pastor Kurt Bockoven will be providing emergency pastoral coverage while she is gone. Call the church office if you need pastoral care.
Please let the office or a member of the Church Council know if one of your loved ones is sick or has passed or if you or someone you know is going to be in the hospital so that we may acknowledge them in our prayer list or pay them a visit.
Help Wanted – The church is looking for individual/s that would be interested in helping with minor maintenance and cleaning tasks around the property. This may include, but are not limited to, tasks such as changing light bulbs, repairing broken items as needed, and washing/waxing floors. This would be a paid position. Hours would be variable and flexible. We are also looking for an individual/s who could assist with setting up the Heritage Room prior to funerals. If interested, please speak with Amanda in the office or a church council member.
Fillmore County Relay for Life will be held in Spring Valley on Friday July 12th. Survivor Tea starts at 3 at the VFW followed by dinner, walk and silent auction throughout the evening. We are looking for volunteers to donate some cookies for dinner. If you are interested in helping out and baking 2-3 dozen cookies for the community dinner please let Marilyn Schreier know at 480-202-3027. Thank you.
