Save the Date – Minnesota Adult and Teen Challenge Choir to Lead Worship on June 2nd – 9 am.
The MN Adult and Teen Challenge choir, which is made up of participants in Minnesota Adult and Teen Challenge’s chemical dependency treatment and recovery programs, will perform a mix of gospel, Christian contemporary and Americana-themed songs as well as share testimonies of the faith and life in worship. Following worship, there will be a potluck – Council is providing pulled pork sandwiches and everyone else is asked to bring a dish to pass!
Summer VBS and Pizza Garden – Sunday, June 9th; Tuesday, June 11th and Thursday, June 13th; Sunday, July 14th; Sunday, August 18th. Come when you can – you don’t have to attend every night. See specifics below.
WHAT: Gather with us and explore how we grow in faith. We will plant and tend a pizza garden over the summer. In August, we will make pizza, using our freshly grown herbs and produce. This is part of our summer VBS ministry. Have fun with Bible stories, games, songs, friends, and more! Sunday meeting dates are for all ages, Tuesdays and Thursdays are for kids. Congregation members will be asked to help provide meals and assist with VBS. Register online on our website, children’s page, www.christlutheranpreston.org or call the office for a registration link at 507-765-2161. See below for more details!
Volunteers needed – Vacation Bible School is in need of volunteers to help prep and clean up meals, lead outdoor games, and more! We are also in need of people to help sign up for certain food items for our meals. A sign up was passed around in church on May 12, and it is in the narthex. VBS is free and open to all and offered as intergenerational mini-worship and activities on June 9, July 14, and August 18. VBS is offered for kids only (pre-k to 6th grade) on June 11 and 13. Please reach out to Alison Leathers at 507-251-8049 or Pastor Kris with any questions. Thank you!

Hours would be variable and flexible. We are also looking for an individual/s who could assist with setting up the Heritage Room prior to funerals.
