HOLY HIKE OUTDOORS –Saturday, April 27 from 10:30 am – 12:25 pm
We will head to Forestville State Park and hike the meadow trail. Enjoy walking, a reflection on creation, and Holy Communion. It will be an easy hike, designed for all ages. We will share communion at the end of the hike, near the parking area. Sign up in the Narthex.

Register for Summer Camp at GEV! (Remember, CLC pays 75% of your camp fee at GEV, you pay only 25%).
1)  Review the Good Earth Village 2024 registration information sheet (available from Amanda).
2).  Go to the  Good Earth Village website for a complete session description, choose the session/s and register https://goodearthvillage.org
3).  Enter this summer’s code, CLCPRES2024  when registering
4).  Do not pay anything online. Pay Christ Lutheran Church the member cost listed on info sheet
5). Christ Lutheran makes one payment to GEV at the end of the summer. THANK YOU!

Greeters for Sunday Morning – We would like to start adding Greeters back to our services again, starting in May.  Mission Trip Fundraiser – Mary Glaser will be travelling with a group of 21 people from Bethel Church, Rochester, MN on a mission trip to their sister congregation at Cristo Rey in Puerto Rico from June 25-July 2.  This will be Bethel’s fourth trip to this tiny island in the Caribbean, and first since 2019. In between, other perspective mission trips have been shut down by the pandemic.  We’ll be working at Divina Salvador Church, repairing, replacing, painting and power washing different areas of the church and parsonage. On the weekend we will be participating in activities and worship at Cristo Rey. We are seeking donations to help pay for supplies and lodging.  Mary will be serving coffee after service on April 28th, May 12th, and May 26th. The coffee donations will go to the Bethel Mission trip. A donation can also be left in the office. Thank you for your support and prayers for this trip.

2024 graduating Seniors – Last week Pastor Kris sent an email to all Seniors and parents with a google survey to fill out. If you have not already done so, please fill it out ASAP.  Senior Recognition Sunday will be May 19^th.

Rogation Sunday – May 5^th, 2024 – Farmer friends! Did you know that there is a special time in the Christian church year for people to pray with you for God’s blessing on the growing season ahead? May 5^th is called “Rogation Sunday”, and the following three days are set aside for praying with and for farmers in their fields. If you would like Pastor Kris or a care team member to come and join you and your family/crew to pray for you, please reach call the church office and Amanda will schedule a time, May 5, 6, 7, or 8.

Spring Service Day at Good Earth Village – Saturday, May 4^th from 9am-3pm. Join us as we prepare for our summer camp season! Help us with several projects around camp including splitting firewood, trail maintenance, landscaping and much more. This event is great for you to bring your friends or family! Lunch is provided for all who attend! RSVP here, and join as your schedule allows. Please feel free to bring your own equipment (chainsaws) and extra lawn-care supplies.

Diabetes Workshop – Gundersen Health System will be hosting a virtual Healthy Living with Diabetes workshop Wed., mornings from 9:30-noon for 6 wks starting May 22.  This workshop is designed to help adults with type 2 diabetes, pre-diabetes or for those caring for someone who has diabetes to learn self-management skills, healthy eating strategies and more.  For more information, please call Vicky at 608-775-6870.
