*NOTICE – Christ Lutheran will no longer be sponsoring and airing radio broadcasts of our services. If you have any questions about this decision, please speak to one of our council members.

*Sunday School Reminders: We’re off to a great start with Sunday School, and have 55 children currently registered! Just a couple of reminders for families:
- When bringing your kids to Sunday School, please help them get checked in on the attendance charts, located on the door of their classroom.
- When picking your children up, please come inside and meet them at their classroom. There is a sign-out sheet on the bulletin board downstairs, alphabetized by last name – please mark off your child(ren) once you’ve picked them up.
- Please share with any other family members who may be dropping off or picking up. Thank you for helping us follow this new safety plan!
*NEEDED: Caring Adults and Youth to Help with Sunday School
When: Sundays from 10:00-11:00 am
Why: 55 kids are registered! A large Sunday School program calls for more helpers each Sunday.
What is expected: This year we need every child’s household to support Sunday School by assisting in a classroom at least one hour each semester, and ideally each month. Youth and other adults are also encouraged to volunteer.
How: Please take a look at the sign-up schedule and sign up on a Sunday that works for you.
Thank you!
*TRUNK OR TREAT – Sunday, October 26th after 9am worship. We are returning with more tricks and treats for the 3rd Annual Trunk or Treat! You are invited to wear your Halloween costume to church. After church, head out to the parking lot for trick or treating. Volunteers will have car trunks decorated and be supplied with Halloween treats. Children will go trick or treating from car to car.
What do we need besides trick or treaters? We need approximately 12 volunteers to decorate their car/SUV/truck and Halloween candy for the trick or treaters! Sign up in the narthex. And also, we’ll need candy donations! (Please bring donations of candy to church prior to the event).
*Craft and Bake Sale Raffle Ticket Sale – The raffle ticket sales for the annual Craft and Bake Sale will begin on Sunday, Oct. 26, after the church service. We will ask the congregation for volunteers who want to help sell these tickets, and those interested can pick up tickets and instructions that day. Raffle tickets are $5.00 each. We will continue to sell these tickets after each church service until the day of the sale. Mary Zimmerman has again donated a beautiful quilt for the main prize. Other prizes include handmade fused glass art, fishing rod made by Hoogie Hanson, a decorated wooden sleigh, and a Blackstone omnivore-on-the-go grill. The drawing will be held on the day of the sale, December 6, at 2:00 p.m.*Dwelling in the Word – Wednesday, October 22nd at 9 am at the B&B – Gather with us for “Dwelling in the Word”, a Bible study led by Pastor Kris from 9:00–10:00 a.m. at B&B. Together, we’ll read the scripture for the upcoming Sunday and explore it through meaningful conversation centered on three guiding questions: What does the text say? What does it mean? And what is God saying to me through this text? Come as you are—your questions and insights are always welcome.
*Women’s Fellowship – The next Women’s Fellowship meeting will be held at the church on Wednesday, October 22, 2025, at 6:30 p.m. Join us as we explore our relationship with money and faith. We’ll have an open discussion about stewardship, generosity, and greed.
*ATTENTION LEFSE AND FLATBREAD BAKERS! It is time again to bake our lefse for our Craft and Bake Sale. Our first bake day is planned for Saturday, October 25, starting at 8 am in the Fellowship Hall/Kitchen. We’re looking forward to a great turnout and making plenty of lefse. For those preparing lefse, please incorporate the flour and shape into balls before arriving at the church. Elsa and Lynn will make flatbread that day and could use extra help. They have requested air-tight large containers, like popcorn tins, to store the flatbread. If you have any that you could donate to the church, please leave them in the kitchen. All are welcome! If you have questions, feel free to contact: Joyce Every, 507-951-1345, joycekevinevery@gmail.com (lefse) Linda Wolfe, 952-807-5214, lwolfe609@gmail.com (lefse) Lynn Benson, 507-765-2296, arnold049@centurytel.net (flatbread) Elsa Bye, 507-765-2410 (flatbread)

A meal, pumpkins and paint are provided – you bring your fun and creativity! The pumpkins will be displayed in the Narthex on Sunday October 26 and congregation members are invited to vote on their favorites with change or dollars. Following worship, we will head outside for our 3rd Annual Trunk or Treat – come in costume! Let us know you are in– text Pastor Kris 507-330-1824.There’s a place for you here.
