Confirmands Head to Camp This Summer!
Christ Lutheran confirmands are encouraged to attend Confirmation Camp at Good Earth Village from Sunday, August 2 through Wednesday, August 5, 2026. This half‑week camp experience is designed especially for youth completing grades 6–9 and will be attended together with Pastor Kris.
At camp, youth will grow in faith and friendship while exploring God’s creation, building confidence through outdoor adventures, and stepping away from daily routines and technology. Confirmands will also spend dedicated time each day as a Christ Lutheran Church group.
Christ Lutheran Church covers 75% of the camp cost and the youths pay 25%, $68.75, due at registration. The total camp cost is $275. Youth will hold fundraisers to help cover the 75% portion which is covered by the church. Families are encouraged to register as soon as possible to help with planning. The preferred registration deadline is on or before May 1.

TIME: 6-7:30 p.m.
WHAT: Soup Supper 6-6:35 pm – Worship 6:45 p.m.
LOCATION: Meet in Christ Lutheran Church Fellowship Hall for a soup supper, head to Sanctuary for Worship
2026 BWCAW Trip – Monday August 2 – Friday August 6
Youth completing Grades 9 and up

WHO: Youth completing grades 9 and up trip is limited to 7 youth, Rich Kincaid and Pastor Kris will be the trip leaders.
DATE: Monday August 2 to Friday August 6
WHAT: Enjoy, canoeing, cooking with camp stoves, swimming fishing and friends in the in the BWCAW wilderness.
LOCATION: Lake Saganaga, via the Gunflint Trail, BWCAW
For our 7th, 8th & 9th graders, we have our Confirmation Program.
We also have a new Youth Lead program for 10th-12th graders
Confirmation – 7th, 8th, 9th graders
Students meet at church on Wednesday evenings during the school year for a meal, activities, and lessons.
Our Confirmation students assist with many roles in the church, from serving as acolytes and computer technicians during the services, to leading a fun Youth Service in February.
Our students also work through our Confirmation program and pair with an adult Mentor to guide them and assist with their Faith Papers. Our Confirmation Service is held in the fall, where students who are in 10th grade and have met the requirements are confirmed in their Christian Faith.

Youth Lead
You’re confirmed – what’s next? We are creating a space for youth to dig deeper into who you are and who God might have created you to be. Step out of life’s busy pace, hang with friends, and explore faith. We will meet once per month, starting with the Wednesday meal and then breaking into a high school small group with Pastor Kris. Youth are either leading or leaving church – let’s lead!
